bowen therapist

Jenny is a qualified Bowen Therapist with a background in Remedial Massage Therapy. Her interest in natural therapies and Creative Visualisation has developed after years of self-enquiry about the powers of healing the body, mind & spirit.

Jenny is committed to helping people discover peace, health and balance in their lives. She became interested in the gentle manual technique of Bowen therapy after discovering how it can facilitate healing in such a powerful, effective and non-intrusive way. She studied Remedial Massage therapy in 2002 and continued to practice for a few years with respected therapists and teachers Meryl Johnson and Astrid Dierks. During her initial studies, Jenny was introduced to Bowen therapy but did not decide to dedicate her healing career to Bowen therapy until 2006. She completed her qualifications at the International School of Bowen Therapy (and completed 'Advanced Bowen-The Next Step) under the direction and expertise of Lisa and Col Black.

She has never looked back and is committed to continued learning of this powerful therapy. Jenny assists in ISBT Bowen therapy training workshops regularly which has cemented her knowledge and enhanced her skills as a respected and sought-after Bowen therapist. She has recently obtained qualifications to teach ISBT Bowen therapy Introductory Module.
Her tactile skills and knowledge, combined with her own balanced lifestyle in maintaining optimum health is demonstrated through to her clients' healing journey.

Jenny's treatments combine knowledge and awareness of body and mind.

Additionally, Jenny has developed her own practice of creative visualisation to both calm the mind and intend what one desires. Guided meditation and creative visualisation has played a key role in her own healing and creativity. She has recently developed a series of creative visualisation audios, available online. See: Creative Visualisation and Visualisation for Dancers.
