creative visualisation creates change
Jenny began practicing meditation and visualisation as a way to cope with emotional challenges in her life and to turn around her habitual limited thinking. She started to absorb as much information as she could on the Laws of the Universe, the power of gratitude, quantum physics and visualisation. It was a natural progression and in time she found that imagery during her meditation practice became a powerful tool for her to create positive change in her life. This learning curve continues and has recently expanded to developing creative visualisation practices for dancers.

visualisation in dancing
The next step
Music and dance has always coloured Jenny’s life, from salsa dancing and in recent years: (Argentine) Tango. It was through learning to tango, that she began to explore the use of creative visualisation to enhance this complex and multi-layered dance. This love for dance, coupled with the knowledge and practice in bodywork has assisted her to gain a deeper awareness of the body and its expression in dance.
using Imagery for alignment & healing
Through injury comes inspiration
The frustration and burden of having an injury in one’s body affects the mind just as significantly as the body. It is during this time of injury and pain that Jenny began to use creative visualisation as a way to heal, to re-align her body and to dance more skilfully and expressively (the latter is still work in progress!) Her inspiration for imagery to enhance one’s dancing also comes from prominent author: Eric Franklin.
His extraordinary book ‘Dynamic Alignment Through Imagery’ continues to be a source of endless inspiration!
